The hotel offers a delightful breakfast spread with fresh Greek pastries that really made mornings special, served in a charming courtyard atmosphere.
The room I stayed in was quite dark, which made it feel a bit cramped and less inviting although it contributed to the hotel's medieval charm.

the room was a shocker, barely a Junior Suite, just one chair for two people! the bed was ridiculously high, one slip and I wouldve needed a medic. how could I not expect a small gesture for my inconvenience, perhaps a complimentary upgrade or even a bottle of water? honestly, i almost left a good review but just couldn't.

Not perfect, but worth it
I loved the warm hospitality of the staff and the delicious breakfast spread, complete with fresh fruits and pastries all in a wonderful courtyard location.
The room I had felt a bit cramped despite its charm, which may deter those seeking more spacious accommodations.

Cava D'Oro offers a stunning atmosphere in the heart of Rhodes Old Town. The warm welcome from George and his family made me feel at home right away. Their attention to detail really stood out, especially with the daily clean linens and meticulous room maintenance. I loved enjoying breakfast with fresh Greek pastries and local fruits, served in a charming courtyard. The location is perfect for exploring nearby tavernas and shops. However, my room, the Junior Suite, was a letdown. It felt cramped and only had one chair, which made it uncomfortable for two guests. The bed was unusually high, leading to a precarious climb. Though George was very accommodating, the lack of a coffee machine or seating was disappointing. Finger crossed they could upgrade the suite to enhance comfort for future guests.

We enjoyed amazing breakfasts with fresh OJ and Greek pastries! Plus, the view from the roof was stunning, overlooking the harbor. Cava D'Oro felt like a charming escape just a stone's throw from Old Town.
However, our Junior Suite was a letdown—barely accommodating with just one chair and no coffee machine. We faced challenges with the high bed, which led to an unfortunate mishap.
